Merzbow, Keiji Haino and Balázs Pándi teamed up for a new album out late September!
After 2016’s An Untroublesome Defencelessness the powerful trio of Merzbow, Keiji Haino and Balázs Pándi is back together for a second round of improvised sonic attack. Their new album, Become The Discovered, Not The Discoverer will be out at the end of September and it will feature Haino’s guitar, bass and vocals accompanied by Merzbow’s noise and Pándi’s drumming in four tracks, clocking around 70 minutes. The three got together early last year , on the on 18th of February, 2018 to be precise for the recording that took place at the La Cave 38 Recording Studio in Metz, France, two days after their joint show after their live performance in the city. The recording was mastered by James Plotkin and just as their previous one, it will be out on UK’s RareNoise Records. The pre-orders are already up on Bandcamp for all three versions (digital, CD and vinyl) along with the first track:
